DMCA & Copyright Policy

Last updated: July 8, 2026

Goonbuds (the "Site") respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users and partners to do the same.

What this policy covers

The Site is a performer discovery, ranking and search platform with optional member accounts. It aggregates publicly available performer data from an authorised third-party partner platform and presents it through search, tags, rankings and discovery tools.

There are two distinct layers of content, and copyright requests are handled differently for each:

  • Content hosted by the partner platform. The underlying live streams, profile photos, gallery photos and bio media are hosted, controlled and delivered by our partner platform, not by us. For this layer we act as a display and linking layer only. The applicable terms, including the age and record-keeping requirements for that content, are published by the partner platform at icflegal.com/cam?site=goonbuds.live.
  • Content we host ourselves. We produce and host short promotional video clips ("reels") of public streams, together with AI-generated text, on our own infrastructure. Each published reel is its own watch page. We act directly on valid notices concerning material we host and can remove it.

Where a request relates to content hosted by the partner platform, the rightsholder may also contact that platform directly through the terms linked above.

Copyright ownership

Performer images, gallery media and streamed video presented through the partner platform remain the property of their respective copyright holders. We do not claim ownership of that content and do not modify or redistribute it beyond what is technically required for display or linking.

Original text, layout, design elements, branding, ranking data, AI-generated copy and the promotional reels we produce are the property of the Site unless otherwise stated.

Designated Copyright Agent

For material hosted on the Site, the following agent has been designated to receive notifications of claimed copyright infringement under 17 U.S.C. §512(c):

CopyByte

3157 Gentilly Blvd, Suite #2254
New Orleans, LA 70122
United States

Email: [email protected]

Phone: 1-504-356-4555

A copy of this designation is on file with the U.S. Copyright Office DMCA Designated Agent Directory.

Submitting a DMCA notice

If you are a copyright owner, or authorised to act on behalf of one, and believe that material hosted on the Site infringes your copyright, send a written notice to the Designated Agent above. You may also copy [email protected] for an internal triage record.

To be effective under 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3), your notice must include:

  • A physical or electronic signature of a person authorised to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed, or, if multiple works are covered by a single notice, a representative list of those works
  • Identification of the material claimed to be infringing, with information reasonably sufficient to locate it, including the specific URL(s) on the Site where it appears
  • Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorised by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorised to act on behalf of the owner of the exclusive right that is allegedly infringed

Notices that do not include all of the above may not be actioned. Pursuant to 17 U.S.C. §512(f), any person who knowingly materially misrepresents that material or activity is infringing may be subject to liability for damages. Do not make false claims of copyright infringement.

How we respond

On receipt of a valid notice concerning material we host, we will respond expeditiously and disable access to or remove the material identified.

For the underlying streams, profile photos, gallery photos and bio media, removal must be handled with the partner platform that hosts and controls that content, under the terms at icflegal.com/cam?site=goonbuds.live. Where relevant, we will also remove our references to the material and forward valid complaints to that platform.

Counter-notification

If material you placed on the Site has been removed or disabled following a notice, and you believe the removal was the result of a mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notification with the Designated Agent above. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g)(3), a valid counter-notification must be in writing and include:

  • Identification of the specific URL(s) of the material that has been removed or to which access has been disabled
  • Your full name, address, telephone number and email address
  • The statement: "I consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the district in which my address is located, or if my address is outside of the United States, the judicial district in which the service provider is located, and will accept service of process from the claimant"
  • The statement: "I swear, under penalty of perjury, that I have a good-faith belief that the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification of the material to be removed or disabled"
  • Your physical or electronic signature

We will forward a valid counter-notification to the party who filed the original notice. Under 17 U.S.C. §512(g), the removed material may be restored in no less than 10 and no more than 14 business days, unless that party notifies us that it has filed an action seeking a court order to restrain the allegedly infringing activity.

When a counter-notification is forwarded, it includes the personal information it contains. By submitting one, you consent to that information being disclosed to the complaining party.

Retracting a notice

If, after submitting a notice, you realise you have misidentified material, failed to meet the requirements above, or simply changed your mind, you may retract it by sending the Designated Agent a statement that you are retracting the notice, the specific URL(s) in question, your electronic signature, and a copy of your original notice.

Repeat infringers

In accordance with 17 U.S.C. §512(i), we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the access of repeat infringers, including member and Partner Program accounts. Where a content source repeatedly provides infringing material, we reserve the right to discontinue linking to or promoting that content or source.

Performers removing clips of themselves

If you are a performer and want a promotional clip we host removed, or your profile and indexed information removed from the Site, use the form at /opt-out. This is the fastest route for performer self-removal and does not require a formal copyright notice.

Policy changes

This policy may be updated at any time. Changes take effect when posted on this page, and the date above will be revised accordingly.
